This is ME

about MYSELF
on my OWN
       BOOK
When I was a kid, every time an adult asked me, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I always pictured myself wearing a white lab coat, gloves on, being a scientist or a doctor. While I thought about that, I’d be sitting at a table covered in drawings, plasticine, a bunch of crayons, all while watching Joseph Kahn on TV. Not very consistent, right?
Life went on. I graduated as a biotechnologist, worked for a bit, and wrote a few things, until I discovered that advertising wasn't just about TV or radio commercials. It was much more than that. That’s when I stopped being a scientist by day and a creative only at night, and started pouring everything into my first book, trying to get into an agency. It was tough, but after several attempts, the industry gave this self-taught advertiser a shot.
Since then, I’ve had the chance to work with talented creatives at top agencies in Chile, including MEAT Group, VMLY&R (after Y&R and before VML), the legendary Porta, and one of the country’s best independent agencies, La Familia. I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with Be Flamingo in Ecuador.
So… what else? I might look super serious, but my inner world is anything but. I'm a huge fan of Dragon Ball Z, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Power Rangers Mighty Morphin (of course). I really don’t like sushi, I’m allergic to chocolate, and I don’t drink alcohol (or smoke). Instead, I prefer a big plate of lasagna, Chinese food, and soda, I love soda. And yes, I eat chocolate anyway. Oh, and I’m a music lover too, so if you like to steal songs from playlists, you’ve got plenty of reasons to keep doing it.
